Dr. Melanie Holden is a Chartered Physiotherapist with 15 years of experience in applied health research, based within the School of Medicine at Keele University, UK. Her clinically applied research interest is around optimizing outcomes from osteoarthritis rehabilitation. She has been involved in the development and evaluation of rehabilitation interventions for osteoarthritis focused on exercise, exercise adherence, knee brace use and weight loss. She has experience in a broad range of research methods including systematic reviews and meta-analyses, randomized controlled trials, surveys, qualitative research, and mixed-method investigations. Dr. Holden sits on the Steering Committee for the OARSI Osteoarthritis Rehabilitation Discussion Group.
